Welcome back to UB! Below is a checklist of items important for you to review before you begin classes.
*A re-entering student is a student who was once enrolled as a UB undergraduate, would like to re-enter the university, and has filled out the Admissions Re-Entry Application.
If you still have your UB Card, it will become valid once you register for classes. To request a new UB Card go to 1Capen (the ground floor of Capen Hall) on the North Campus. Bring a photo ID or upload your photo online at UB Submit Card Photo.
Activate your UBIT name with your single use password. If you do not know your password or need to reset it —access the UB Information Technology website, call 716-645-3542 or go to the UBIT Help Center, 2nd floor Lockwood Cybrary. Begin accessing your UB email immediately for important reminders and information.
Your advisor is determined by your intended or approved major. For contact information, view your advisor in Navigate or via your MyUB HUB Student Center. You can also find a listing of advising offices by major by using the Advising Directory. Before your academic advising appointment, review the UB Curriculum (General Education) requirements.
Financial Aid advisors are available via phone at 716-645-8232 or walk in help in 1Capen on the North Campus and 1Diefendorf on the South Campus. Visit the Financial Aid website for further assistance.
Student Health Insurance acceptance is automatic (for full-time domestic students and all international students) unless waived online. The Student Health Insurance Office can be contacted at 716-645-3036 or by visiting 1Capen.
