To determine a grade point average, you need to know:
1. How many grade points you have earned for each course. This is done by multiplying the number of credit hours times the number of grade points for the specific grade. Refer to the Undergraduate Degree & Course Catalog: Explanation of Grades chart to view grade points for each letter grade.
Course | Credit Hours Attempted | Grade | Grade Points | Grade Points Earned for Course |
---|---|---|---|---|
PSY 101 | 3.0 | B+ | 3.333 | 9.999 |
2. Divide the total number of grade points earned by the total number of credit hours attempted. Repeating a Course? Refer to Undergraduate Degree & Course Catalog: Course Repeat Policy
Course | Credit Hours Attempted | Grade | Grade Points | Grade Points Earned |
---|---|---|---|---|
ENG 105 | 4.0 | A- | 3.667 | 14.668 |
