How to Cancel an Appointment

(From a student perspective)

  1. Log into the scheduling platform using your UBIT Name and password. This shows the UBIT login screen.
  2. Upon logging in, you’ll be taken to the portal home page. You can view your upcoming appointments in the “Upcoming Appointments” box on the right side of the page. Click on the appointment you want to cancel. This shows a red box highlighting the Upcoming Appointments sections on the right hand side of the home page.
  3. Click “Cancel My Attendance.” This shows the place to cancel an appointment.
  4. Select a reason for canceling. This is required. You can also add a message to your tutor or staff member. Click “Mark as Cancelled.” Then, click “Close.” You must give a reason for the cancellation before you can select the button.
  5. You and your advisor, tutor or staff member will each receive a cancellation notification email at your email addresses.
