At the University at Buffalo students are assigned to an academic advising office based on their declared or approved major. If you have declared a major you will be advised by someone in the appropriate professional school or College of Arts and Sciences. If you have not chosen a major, you will be advised by the staff in Student Advising Services. Please note that for most majors, students will be assigned to a departmental (or faculty) advisor once they have been accepted to the major.
In addition, if you are a participant in any one of the following programs, select the appropriate link to find out about your advising office(s): ACE; Acker; Athletics; EOP; University Honors College.
The following list includes UB academic majors, concentrations, tracks, or other specialized course clusters (such as pre-med) for which students seek advising help. It is intended solely as a resource to direct you to the advising unit which can best assist you. It does not represent an official list of university undergraduate degree programs (which resides in the university undergraduate catalog).
